A small historical background

It all began in Örebro, Sweden may 1, 1988. ( At that time I was pastoring a church which I had launched together with my wife, Ingalill) A big national prayer-conference was held in the city with almost 4000 people in attendance. It took place in the ice-hockey arena of the city. Just prior to me addressing the people, the police showed up and told the leaders of the conference that they had received news of a bomb-threat, and they were therefore telling all of us to vacate the building.

Many other things were taking place in Sweden prior to 1988, and that same year many things were to take place in Europe. Strong prophetic words came forth that the iron-curtain would fall, and my wife Ingalill received two specific prophetic songs called, Europe and I want to be on Fire; and they were recorded and released in Sweden just months before the iron curtain came down!

All the attendance of the conference had to leave the building, and we all met at an outside arena close by. The speakers and some of the leaders are standing on the rooftop of the outside platform while the people were standing on the grounds. There were no microphones available as I was getting ready to deliver the prophetic word I had. But, these circumstances do not quench or hinder the flow or the anointing of the Holy Spirit. As I am standing on the roof top, I am given a vision by the Lord!

In the vision I see four large horns of oil. They are coming from the north-south- east and the west. They are all seemingly being bent and poured out from heaven toward the earth, and toward Jerusalem as a centre or middle-point of the vision! The anointing flowing from the horns of oil is having a specific direction. The Lord is showing me that in the same way as the gospel was being spread throughout Europe and to the uttermost borders from the earth, from Jerusalem (Acts 1:8), in the same way and in its fullness, the gospel will find its way back to Jerusalem through spiritual forrunners who are welcoming this. The anointing of the horns of oil made this possible. As all of the horns were fully bent toward the earth, then the combined fullness of the horns were able to benefit the earth fully. This is specifically for Europe, to break the influence of the anti-christ spirit, which has placed this continent under a spiritual darkness.

The maps of spiritual geography which I am seeing, are only to describe the anointing and the quality of each specific horn. As I am watching the horns being tipped over the earth, I am beginning somewhat to understand the description of the New Jerusalem coming down from above. (Rev.21:2)

In the coming days there will be an even fuller understanding of the vision I saw. The horns of oil also represents, prophesying to the Wind of the Spirit to come from the four corners of the earth. (Hez.37:9-10) It also represents the experience of the anointing which God´s people has had with God at different and specific times of their lives.

The horns from the northern parts; Scandinavia – represents an “spiritual Viking anointing, taking Europe through prayer and spiritual warfare.

The horns of oil from the south - Africa; represents a miracle evangelization and growth.

The horns from the east – Asia; represents prayer and church-growth.

The horns from the west – America, represents the manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit, and the equipping which comes from the fivefold ministry gifts.
